Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year 2021 - Finalists Shortlist

Posted by TIMOTHY WRATE on

I'm thrilled to announce that 6 of my images have recently been short-listed as finalists in the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year Competition for 2021!
Every year the finalist entries are included in an exhibition developed by the South Australian Museum and exhibited across the country at many other museums including the Australian Museum here in Sydney.
Having been short-listed as a finalist in 2015 and 2018, I am acutely aware of the quality of the imagery that make the finals and how mind-blowingly incredible the exhibition is. I'm therefore blown-away to have not one, but six of my images selected.
This year the judges had a tough job with more than 2,200 entries from 17 countries. The quality of the all the finalists speak for themselves in the gallery - https://www.samuseum.sa.gov.au/c/npoty/.
Stay tuned for the results announced on the 26th August this year. Fingers and toes crossed for a good result!
