The Grand Canyon, NSW

Getting out from Evans lookout near Blackheath in the World Heritage Blue Mountains, the Grand Canyon walk is not only one of the most beautiful bushwalks in the area, but also one of the oldest. The walk is well known for it's arresting sandstone walls, ever-present waterfalls and abundant native plants.

While on the walk I found this stunning set of stairs framed by a glade of tree ferns and carved between two old growth trees. To me it was the perfect hidden garden.
