North Curly Pool

Beloved by locals, North Curl Curl Beach and Rock Pool is a bit of a hidden gem on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. A 25m oceanside man-made rockpool stuck right out amongst the rocks at North Curl Curl on the dramatic Dee Why Head. The pool is formed from the natural rock and man-made interventions are minimal, making this the most natural feeling man made pool I have ever swum in. There is also a striking boulder in the middle of the pool, meaning there is less room for serious lap swimming but ensuring that the pool feels all the more a part of the surrounding rock formations.
