By taking the horizon away and any sense of scale, as I’ve done here, the viewer is invited to move away from their more literal mind into more figurative paths of interpretation. One of the things I like to play with in my photography is the juxtaposition of the natural landscape and the heavy hand of human influence and our endless need to exploit the land.
