Little Nandroya Falls, QLD

Nandroya Falls lie within the heart of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, a place of rich biodiversity and stunning scenery. At Nandroya Falls, Douglas Creek drops in a narrow, uninterrupted, 50 metre fall from a basalt parapet.

This particular part of the falls is located at the lower section where the creek widens. I tried to shoot a unique composition of these falls and in order to do so waded out into the creek to shoot the falls square-on. A simply breath-taking experience!
